Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins Starts Production in New Mexico Warner Bros. has announced that production on the 4th entry into the Terminator movie franchise, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, has started shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This one is being directed by McG (We Are Marshall, Charlie's Angels) and stars Christian Bale as John Connor. Salvation will be the first entry in the series to take place after the infamous "Judgement Day." It's set in the year 2018 and finds Connor leading a human resistence against Skynet's robot army. Bale's co-stars include Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Moon Bloodgood, Jadagrace and rapper Common. Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is the first of a new trilogy in the series. It is scheduled for release on May 22, 2009. |
